Women DI Club Rankings & Standings

Not much movement among women’s division one rugby, with the exception of Chicago and Chicago North Shore swapping spots. Chicago logged its first-ever win against North Shore last league season and repeated the feat with a tight 16-13 win last weekend. Chicago and Detroit, which defeated Wisconsin 17-5 on the road, will attempt to end each other’s undefeated season this weekend.

In CR1, the second round of play helped distance San Diego from the rest of the pack, beating Nor Cal Triple Threat 44-7. Seattle won its first match of the season 27-10 over San Francisco Fog and will try to make it 2-0 against Tempe this weekend.

NOVA banked its first league win against Orlando 26-3 and nabbed that all-important bonus point thanks to tries from Mo McQueen, Sarah Davis and two from Rebecca Kigin. The top seed in the CR3’s South Conference will be decided this weekend, as NOVA and Atlanta duke it out. The #3 seeded team had topped Orlando 46-0.
